ODESSA - We have new information on a fight that occurred at Hood Junior High on Tuesday.

One student has been charged in the crime.

The seventh grader is charged with aggravated assault.

We're told he used a pocket knife to attack a fellow classmate.

Authorities say three 7th graders jumped the boy at school.

The boy was cut on his arm and taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The other two boys involved were not charged.

Officials tell NewsWest 9 that's because they really didn't take part in the attack, they just watched.
