ODESSA - A fight at Hood Junior High in Odessa rattled a few nerves on Tuesday.
The call went out over the police scanner as a shooting just before 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
It turns out; a group of 7th graders jumped another boy.
The victim had a cut on his arm and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The three other boys were taken into custody.
We're told campus police are investigating whether a weapon caused the cut on the boy's arm.
The seventh graders that ganged up on the boy could face charges depending on what officers uncover.
