BIG SPRING - The City of Big Spring is now banding together for some former residents.

That's after a family that was raised in Big Spring lost their home in Arlington from the damaging tornados earlier this week.

Orlando and Jessica Olague and their two children, Eli and Bella, were born and raised in Big Spring.

Now they staying in a hotel after their home in Arlington was destroyed by the tornados last Tuesday.

Now the City of Big Spring has set up a fund for them.

Orlando talked to NewsWest 9 over the phone about what has happened to them.

"You never think it's going to come this close to home or especially to you. You never think it's going to happen to you. Total war zone. Something you see in a movie. It's exactly what you see on TV," Orlando said.

An account for the Olague family has been set up at the Big Spring Federal Credit Union.

If you wish to make a donation, you can give it under the name of Orlando and Jessica Sanchez Olague.
