MIDLAND - With a booming economy and more people moving to town, local tax offices are busy with vehicle registrations.
According to the Midland County Tax Collector's Office, registrations are up from 2009.
We're told the county has seen a 20 percent increase in vehicle registrations since the economy was at a low back in 2009.
Interestingly enough, the year has just started and officials in Midland say they don't see any sign of this trend slowing down.
According to Assistant Chief Deputy Karen Hood, there is a direct link between the boom and people registering their cars in Midland County.
