NEAR ANDREWS - Andrews fire crews got lucky on Tuesday afternoon.
They managed to put out a grassfire before the wind sent it out of control.
We're told the blaze sparked up around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the median of Highway 385, just south of Andrews.
The fire burned about eight acres before Andrews fire crews contained it.
Fire crews are keeping an eye out for any hot spots to make sure the fire doesn't start back up.
