MIDLAND - Students at one Midland school sent a special gift to Haiti on Monday morning.
This past fall, the special needs students at Bynum School learned how to sew rag dolls.
But they're not keeping their hard work.
On Monday, they sent their handmade dolls off to a Haiti orphanage.
Nancy Wallace, a missionary that will be taking the dolls, spoke about what these dolls will mean for the orphans.
"It brings hope. It's so easy in America to go and buy a toy off the shelf. It will bring comfort to them," Wallace said.
This isn't the first time Bynum students have given away their colorful works of art.
Every year, the school picks an organization to donate their toys to.
