ALPINE - Fire crews in Alpine finally got a grassfire under control after the gusty winds kept fanning the flames.
Alpine Police tell NewsWest 9, the fire started just south of town around 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon and it took crews about two hours to contain.
No word on how big the fire was but no homes were damaged.
