ECTOR COUNTY - An Odessa boy is found alive and safe after going missing on Saturday afternoon.
Ector County deputies were looking for 13-year-old Josh Bates.
The teen was last seen near Kellus Turner Park with his dog and a fishing pole but he never made it home.
Dispatchers put Bates information into a state and national database for missing people.
On Sunday morning, family deputies and even Sheriff Mark Donaldson went back to the park to look for the boy.
Turns out, Bates was actually at a friend's house.
