ODESSA - It was a packed house at a stripes convenience store in Odessa on Thursday.
The Stripes on JBS Parkway held a ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off their newest location.
They also used the occasion to donate to the community.
They handed over a check to the CASA program, or Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Those volunteers act as an advocate in court for victims who are children.
CASA will use the money for volunteer recruitment and training.
