BIG SPRING - A dress code could be in the works for Big Spring students.

After visiting an early high school program in south Texas, the district started looking into uniforms.

However, it would not be the same clothing every day.

It would be a variety of a combination of shirts and pants.

The Superintendent says switching to a dress code would help with academics and cut down on issues regarding what kids will wear to school.

Any committee recommendation would go back to the school board for a vote.
