MIDLAND - Midland schools are busting at the seams when it comes to enrollment.

While teachers across the state are being let go because of budget cuts.

The Midland School District can't seem to hire enough.

They're looking to add three more teachers right now.

They've hired a total of 23 since the school year started.

The district is trying to follow the state ratio of 22 students to 1 requirement.

Currently, the student enrollment in Midland tops out at more than 22,000 kids and only more keep pouring in.

Back in October, Bonham Elementary had to actually cut off enrollment.
