ODESSA - New information in the case of an Odessa woman accused of shooting at her neighbor.

Kim Elizondo was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say she fired three shots at her neighbor Arron Lewis.

According to the affidavit, Elizondo told officers that she fired at Lewis with the intention of hitting him.

Elizondo's daughter, Maggie Barrow, contacted NewsWest 9 saying her mother was acting in self-defense.

Barrow claims Lewis is the father of her daughter and the two are next door neighbors.

She says Lewis threatened her and her mother throughout the day Sunday and alleges that he even tried to kick down their door early that morning.

Barrow claims this has been an on-going issue since the birth of their daughter.

However, police have not confirmed that to us.

Elizondo bonded out of jail on a $25,000 bond.
