HOWARD COUNTY - Alcohol may be to blame for a rollover accident in Howard County on Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on FM 33, south of Big Spring.
DPS officials tell NewsWest 9, 28-year-old Thomas Aguilar was driving a Ford pickup when it veered off the road.
Aguilar overcorrected and the truck went into a skid and then rolled over.
Aguilar was not wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.
He was airlifted to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa and is listed in serious condition
His father, 60-year-old Robert Aguilar, was also in the truck.
He was rushed to Scenic Mountain Medical Center.
DPS officials say alcohol and fatigue may have been a factor in the crash.
Troopers did find alcohol at the scene.
Charges are pending.
