Midland I.S.D. is going to take on several major issues in the upcoming Spring semester.
Superintendent Ryder Warren says the district will be tackling the new STAAR test which replaced the TAKS.
The district will also be reevaluating their bilingual education programs which warren says are not performing to state standards.
M.I.S.D. will also continue evaluating their facility needs.
The district may be looking at a bond issue and a reconfiguration on some campuses.
Warren says he will likely go to the school board soon with his recommendations.
