Number of Oil Rigs in the Basin Continues to Increase

Since the 1980's, the number of oil rigs across the country have been cut in half but that's not the case in the Permian Basin.

Recent numbers show the Basin actually has more rigs now than we did back then, making this area especially unique.

Industry experts say the recent use of technology in shale camps are contributing heavily to our success.

Oil industry expert Morris Burns says, he expects oil prices to say steady for the next few months.

Although they're slightly higher right now, that's normal.

Oil prices are higher in the winter and summer when we're using more fuel.
