LYNN COUNTY, TX – An Odessa man has died and two others were injured after an oil rig accident in Lynn County.

Lynn County Investigators tell NewsWest 9, they responded to the call around 2:40 a.m. Friday morning about 8 miles east of O'Donnell near FM 2053 and County Road BB.

30-year-old Francis Howard Pratt from Odessa was pronounced dead on the scene.

Two other men were also injured. 33-year-old Jeffrey Lee Mayfield of Odessa was transported to a Lubbock hospital and 49-year-old Troy Lee Mutter of Roswell, New Mexico, suffered only minor injuries.
