FORT STOCKTON - Fort Stockton ISD has joined the ever growing lawsuit against the State of Texas.

During their school board meeting on Monday, Fort Stockton ISD voted unanimously to join the Texas School Coalition's lawsuit against the State of Texas and the current school finance system.

During the next three years, Fort Stockton ISD will dish out $5,000 a year to fund their part of the lawsuit.

School Board President Ken Ripley tells NewsWest 9 that the board feels that the $15,000 over three years will be a good investment in the end.
