MIDLAND - Officials are investigating after a twin-engine Beechcraft plane crashed onto a Midland street.
The plane crashed on Whitmire Street near the Fountains at Waterford Apartment Complex.
We're told it was a Midland College twin engine plane flown by two flight instructors. The pilots have been identified as Craig Patterson and Chad Farris.
Midland College Public Information Officer, Rebecca Bell tells NewsWest 9 that both Patterson and Farris were experienced pilots.
Both men made it safely out of the crash and did not have to go to the hospital.
We're told the plane was coming in to land at Midland Airpark from Oklahoma City, had engine problems and tried to find a safe place to land.
No one was hurt on the ground.
