MIDLAND - The Midland Independent School District will be joining the fight against the state's education funding.
On Tuesday night, the Board of Trustees voted to join the Thompson and Horton law firm's school finance lawsuit against the State of Texas.
Superintendent Ryder Warren pushed for the district to join in on the lawsuit at last week's meeting.
State funding has slashed billions from school funding in just the State of Texas alone.
