Weekend Sports Anchor

Chase joined NewsWest 9 in October of 2011 as the Weekend Sports Anchor. He was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, where he graduated from Tascosa High School in 2007.

Chase attended West Texas A&M University where he received a degree in Mass Communications/Broadcasting.  While in school, he interned in the sports department at KFDA NewsChannel 10.  After graduating from West Texas A&M, Chase returned to KFDA as the third sports guy and a news photographer.

Being From West Texas Chase couldn't be happier to continue to cover an area he knows and loves.  Having played football both at the high school and collegiate level Chase has a passion for the game and all sports.

When not working, Chase loves being active. He is always working out or playing some kind of sport such as golf, sand volleyball, or softball.  He also enjoys playing some Madden or Call of Duty on his PS3.  Chase loves his metroplex teams and never misses a Cowboys, Rangers or Mavericks game.
