LOVINGTON, N.M. - We have new information on two bodies discovered east of Lovington last week.
Both men have been identified.
The bodies are 48-year-old Leon Sanchez and 43-year-old Francis McCain.
Both men were from Lovington.
On Thursday, deputies were called out to state road 82, just four miles east of Lovington because of suspicious activity.
When they arrived, a rancher directed them to the bodies of the two men on his property.
Officials say evidence has been found on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
