NEAR LOVINGTON, N.M. - Lea County officials are investigating after two male bodies were found east of Lovington.
The Lea County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9, they received a call around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon in reference to suspicious activity on State Road 82.
When deputies arrived on the scene, a rancher, who owned the land, directed the deputies to the two dead bodies that were on his property.
Officials tell NewsWest 9, evidence has been located at the scene.
The names of the victims will not be released until family members are notified.
