Lots of Weekend Events Planned for Halloween


WEST TEXAS - Below is a list of Halloween events coming up in the area.


Odessa College is ready to give you quite a fright. The school is hosting a Healing House of Horrors. The student government is putting on a haunted house with a medical theme. The terrifying attraction kicks off Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.

It will be located at the old gym behind the library. There is a designated safe time for children. That's from 6:00 to 8:00. Admission is only $1. For more information call 557-1352.


The Haunted Warehouse and Circus of the Dead in Odessa are also inviting you for a good scare. They are open this weekend at 2214 West Second Street in Odessa. Tickets go for $8 for one show and $10 for both. You can visit www.bloodybill.com for details.


The Petroleum Museum is pulling out all the stops to celebrate Halloween. Head over to the Petroleum Museum on Halloween night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Kids will learn how to make goblin blood and spooky soap. Lots of fun games too. Admission is free.


Mid-cities church is holding Fallapalooza full of family fun. The event is Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be hay rides, steer rides, face painting and a petting zoo. There will also be a chili cook-off and classic cars on display. Admission is free.


For more G-Rated fun you are invited to the Midland County Library. They will have games, crafts, balloons and face painting on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free and kids are encouraged to wear costumes.
