FORT STOCKTON - A 3-year-old girl running after her dog gets hit by a car in Fort Stockton.
Police say the young girl was hit in 1200 block of north Pecos Street around noon on Monday.
The driver who hit her took the toddler to Pecos County Memorial Hospital.
Another person helped out, by holding the girl on the way to the hospital.
She was then airlifted to university medical center in Lubbock with head and facial injuries.
She's listed in stable condition.
So far, no charges have been filed against the driver.
The girl's parents were in the area when she was hit.
