ECTOR COUNTY - An Andrews woman is dead after a truck slammed into her head-on on Highway 158.
State Troopers tell NewsWest 9, the driver of the pickup got distracted and that's when he veered into the oncoming lane towards a couple.
The man was on a motorcycle and the woman was on a trike.
The man managed to dodge the truck by driving into a ditch.
But the truck hit his wife head on.
She died at the scene.
A few moments later, the truck suddenly burst into flames but the driver had already gotten out.
No word on whether the driver of the truck is facing any charges.
