Crane Man Killed in Accident in Pecos County

PECOS COUNTY - A Crane man is dead following a rollover accident in Pecos County.

It happened about ten miles outside of Fort Stockton, around 4:30 Saturday morning. DPS officials say 24-year-old Roman Rodriguez was driving on FM 1053 when he drifted onto the shoulder and over-corrected.

His truck then crossed the road and flipped. Rodriguez was taken to Pecos County Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

DPS troopers say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
