More Waste Coming to Andrews

ANDREWS - The Waste Control Specialists signed an agreement to allow another plant to dump waste in Andrews' backyard.

The Utilities Service Alliance will be dumping their low-level radioactive waste in Andrews County. USA operates 17 nuclear power stations across the nation.

The WCS facility in western Andrews County will be the only commercial facility in the country to dispose of three different classes of waste. The facility's grand opening is set for November 10.
