ANDREWS COUNTY - NewsWest 9 has learned that a body was found in Western Andrews County.
Authorities tell NewsWest 9, the Andrews County Sheriff's Office received information from Andrews and Hobbs, New Mexico police about the body on Wednesday.
Around 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, the body of a middle aged male was found in a field approximately 19 miles west of Andrews on State Road 176.
Authorities believe the victim is possibly a Hobbs man that was reported missing earlier this week, but positive identification has not yet been made.
An autopsy will be performed in Dallas.
