MCCAMEY - An elderly woman passed away Friday morning in her home in McCamey after flames broke out in her home.
73-year-old Shirley Wilson was found dead in her home after fire crews were called out to the 400 block of east 4th in McCamey.
When crews arrived to the house, they found the home fully engulfed.
After crews had extinguished the flames, they found Wilson's body.
Midland County Fire Marshal Dale Little was called in to inspect the home.
Upton County Sheriff Dan Brown tells NewsWest 9, Wilson was sent off to Lubbock for an autopsy.
