MARTIN COUNTY - A driver is recovering from serious injuries after colliding with a big rig on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened on County Road 1829 and Highway 176, a little after 6 a.m.
According to Martin County authorities, a Dodge Neon ran a stop sign and collided with a 18 wheeler that was hauling pipes.
The car was crushed under the 18 wheeler.
The driver was airlifted to Medical Center Hospital.
Authorities believe the victim could be a Midland resident but they have not confirmed it.
