Midland Teen Arrested for Taking Part in Drive-by Shooting

MIDLAND - A Midland teen is arrested for taking part in a drive-by shooting in July.

17-year-old Adam Torres is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, which is a felony charge.

The drive-by occurred on July 31 when the suspects opened fire on a home on Clay Street.

Two other men also behind bars charged for the crime.

Both Michael Espinoza and Antonio Valenzuela remain behind bars.

Valenzuela is also charged with the robbery of the Hawaiian Breeze Snow Cone stand on Rankin Highway.

Torres is being held on a $100,000 bond and could get up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
