ODESSA - You'll be paying more on your water bill if you live in Odessa.
The City Council approved a 20 percent rate base increase with a tiered billing system.
Here's how it breaks down.
If you have a three quarter inch meter, you'll see an increase of roughly $12 a month, that's if you stay within 2,000 gallons a month.
This will be reflected in your October bill.
The price hike is due to increased water expenses being passed on to the city with the construction of a line from Ward County.
