HOWARD COUNTY - Howard College board members have approved their budget for the coming year.
The budget is $36.5 million for both Howard College and SWCID.
That's $1.5 million less than their previous rate.
The tax rate was also cut back.
The new tax rate is .23 per 100 dollar property value.
