MIDLAND - Congressman Mike Conaway made a stop in the Basin in Monday night.
On the heels of a historic debt reduction vote and the downgrading of the U.S. credit rating, Conaway had a lot to talk about.
During the town hall meeting, folks had a chance to voice their concerns and ask the Congressman questions.
Conaway says he knows his constituents have a lot on their mind these days.
"It's just a matter of doing the job as I perceived it should be done. That is listening to people and their concerns about the direction this country is going," Conaway said.
