New Details Released in Connection With Fort Stockton Murder

FORT STOCKTON - More details are surfacing in the murder of a homeless man in Fort Stockton.

According to an affidavit, 23-year-old Dustin Allen Horton confessed to his mother that he stabbed a homeless man several times with a knife.

Investigators say the story was backed up by the large amount of blood in his apartment.

The man who was murdered wears a prosthetic leg below the knee and uses crutches.

Fort Stockton Police are still trying to identify him.

They say he frequented convenience stores and was trying to make his way home to Michigan.
