MIDLAND - Running from police lands a Midland man in jail for the next 6 and a half years.

That's after a jury found Jason Spraglin guilty of evading arrest.

We're told officers tried to pull him over during a traffic stop and he took off.

He ended up crashing into a front yard.

It's not Spraglin's first time running from the cops, this is his second conviction.

According to our records, Spraglin was a suspect in the 2001 murder of Arthur B. Guess.

He was later cleared of all charges in that case.
