The City of Big Spring is hosting the Hang Gliding National Championships.
This is the eleventh year Big Spring has had the privilege of hosting the event.
Airline pilots and engineers from all over the United States join in on the fun.
Hang gliding trips can extend to Lamesa or Snyder or even as far as Hobbs, New Mexico.
We're told the key to picking the location has to do with weather.
According to experts, Big Spring has just what these hang gliders need.
The competition began on Sunday but will be going all this week until Friday.
