ODESSA - A big scare at an Odessa bank forces an evacuation.

But it turns out; it was one big false alarm.

Police responded to a call at the Wells Fargo Bank on JBS Parkway, just after 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The bomb squad was called in after a woman was seen by bank employees walking into the lobby and leaving a brown bag between the water fountain and a trash can and left.

The bank was evacuated and bomb crews sent in a robot.

Turns out, all that was in the sack was lunch.

The woman was never found.

The bank reopened a little more than an hour later.
