A former Fort Davis football coach pleads guilty to having an improper relationship with a student.

According to the District Attorney's Office, Jeremy Baethge will serve three years deferred adjudication and 120 community service hours.

That means he can't get into any trouble for three years, or he'll be hauled off to the slammer.

Baethge will also have to pay a $150,000 fine and surrender his teaching license to the Texas Educators Administration.

He had been with the district for about six years.
