BIG SPRING - Big Spring is getting national attention for a new way of getting drinking water, but it has some people a little grossed out.

A $13 million reclamation plant is in the works in Howard County.

The story was featured on CNN.

It would recycle what you flush down the toilet into a refreshing glass of drinking water.

But don't fret, the treated raw sewage water will be mixed with lake water and treated again.

The water district says they had to get creative since the area has only seen three inches of rain in the last year.
