City of Midland Press Release
The City of Midland's Transportation Division will continue the annual Chip-Seal Project on Monday, August 8, 2011; weather permitting. The Transportation Division's chip-seal project will include the following roadways during the week August 8-August 12. These Roadways will be chip-sealed in this order beginning with Garfield St. between Wadley Av. and Whitmire Blvd. on Monday, August 8, 2011.
- Garfield St. between Wadley Av. and Whitmire Blvd.
- Wadley Av. between A St. and I St.
All residents and businesses will receive "Chip-Seal Notices" 1-2 days in advance.
Traffic will be detoured through the adjacent neighborhoods.
It is advised that motorists use alternate routes during the chip-seal project.
