Every dog has its day and Sunday, August 7, 2011 is K-9 Pet Splash at Sherwood Aquatic Center.
The City of Odessa Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual free event for K-9's to end the summer with a splash.
All dogs are invited to bring their owners to Sherwood Aquatic Center, 1210 E. 49th Street, on Sunday, August 7 between 6 and 8 pm.
The following rules and restrictions will be enforced:
· Dogs should be at least six months old
· Owners must bring proof of current rabies vaccine on the day of the event
· Dogs must be accompanied by a person 18 years of age
· Children may participate if accompanied by an adult
· No more than one dog per person
· Dogs must be well behaved and leashed when not in the pool
· Participants will be required to sign a release
· Owner must clean up after accidents
· Aggressive dogs will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to leave
Everyone is encouraged to bring their furry friends out for the annual FREE K-9 Pet Splash on Sunday, August 7, 2011.
