WEST ODESSA - An arrest has been made in the shooting incident that occurred earlier this week in West Odessa.
48-year-old Tina Caswell Winkler was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge, which is a first degree felony.
Winkler was being interviewed by officials on Wednesday when she confessed that she shot Ricki Gerald Plantt back on August 1 at a home in the 6300 block of Westmoor.
This all started after deputies were called out to an "unknown incident" at the home and found Plantt with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Plantt was transported to Medical Center Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
