NEW DETAILS: Two Killed in Rollover Accident in Pecos County

PECOS COUNTY - Two people were killed following a rollover accident in Pecos County.    

DPS officials tell NewsWest 9, the wreck happened Monday night on Highway 67, just south of Interstate 10.

Authorities say 21-year-old Matthew Smith was traveling southbound on Highway 67, when his front right tire blew out resulting in his Ford pickup truck to skid sideways, flipping and rolling to an eventual stop.

Smith wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.
