In this case, I'm sorry wasn't good enough.

33-year-old Johnny Joe Alvarez was arrested for sending his ex-girlfriend a threatening text message, and smashing her windshield.

Alvarez allegedly smashed the woman's windshield outside the Super Mercado on north Big Spring last week.

It was all caught on the supermarket's surveillance cameras.

According to police, he threatened to hurt the woman and her children if she reported the incident.

After all of that, he sent her a text message apologizing and it didn't work.

Alvarez is being held on a felony charge of retaliation and for harassment.

His bond is set at $15,000.
