Permian High School Imposter Pleads Guilty

ODESSA - The now infamous Permian imposter, Guerdwich Montimere, plead guilty on Wednesday in an Ector County court.

According to District Attorney Bobby Bland, Montimere pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault and three counts of tampering with Government records.

Montimere, whose in his early 20's, made national headlines after he enrolled at Permian High School posing as teenage student.

He quickly became a star on the basketball court but his story eventually fell apart after other teams started asking questions.

The sex charges stem from a relationship he had with an underage Permian student.

Montimere will have to serve three years in prison and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
