Next week, the second trial against the Alon refinery explosion will take place at the 118th District Court.
The Alon explosion happened back in 2008.
Afterwards more than 100 civil lawsuits were filled claiming that their properties were damaged due to the explosion.
Last year, the first of those lawsuits went to trial in Big Spring.
In that trial, the jury sided with three people who filed the suit claiming property damages.
The families received $360,000.
All of the civil lawsuits are being handled by the Pinkerton Law Firm from Houston.
It's still up in the air if they will have two plaintiffs or more.
Next week's trial is not relevant to last year's trial, there will be a different plaintiff and different parties.
