Midland Teen Arrested on Drug Charges

MIDLAND - A Midland teen ends up in handcuffs after officers find a crack cocaine rock in his car.

17-year-old Davorrin McAfee was pulled over Tuesday afternoon on Powell by Midland Police for failing to wear a seatbelt.

Officers searched the vehicle and found a small white rock in the middle console and it tested positive for cocaine.

Davorrin was arrested and taken to the Detention Center but he forgot to mention one thing before entering the place.

He was hiding cocaine in a body cavity.

Officers found about 10 grams worth of the substance.

Now the teen is facing a first degree felony charge for distribution of crack cocaine and a third degree felony for possession of controlled substance in a corrections facility.
