MIDLAND - We now know who is behind the gunfire that rang out in a Midland neighborhood on Sunday night.

The shooting happened on Sunday in the 1200 block of Nobles Road.

Midland Police were called out to home after gunshots were heard.

Witnesses say two men stepped out of a car and began firing shots.

That's when police say, 28-year-old Juan Meza ran into the home.

Meza was originally charged for firing the shots but the charges were later dropped because no one was hurt.

He's now charged with burglary for trying to rob the home he ran into.
