The fate of a man accused of killing a Fort Stockton rancher more than 20 years ago will be decided by a jury out of town.
A change of venue was granted on Monday for Lightsey Saul, but there's no word yet on where he will be tried.
Saul is one of three men accused of killing Joe Daggett back in the 1980's and then dumping his body.
Saul's Attorney's argued the trial should be moved out of Fort Stockton, claiming he wouldn't get a fair trial.
Authorities believe Saul, a ranch hand who's been living near Carlsbad for the last two decades, is the mastermind behind Daggett's murder.
